Does People to People offer Internships?

Yes, We offer on-site & virtual PAID internships for counselors-in-training and bachelor and master level social work students at our locations in Cambridge and Caldwell, Ohio.

People to People offers a dynamic and supportive environment for students. People to People serves a wide range of ages and issues. We have significant experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Working with People to People’s knowledgeable staff will allow you to apply the skills you have learned with the protection and support you need to flourish.

We offer paid positions in our Cambridge and Caldwell locations. At these locations we will work with you to set up a schedule that fits your life.

Students are supported through 1-2 hours a week of group and 1 hour a week of individual supervision. We will focus on case conceptualization, ethics, skill building exercises and training, diagnoses, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and various counseling theories and approaches. At People to People we primarily focus on DBT, CBT, EMDR, CPT and client centered approaches. People to People commits to providing to you the number of client and supervision hours you need to meet your program or licensure requirements.

How do I get started?

You can start at any time. We are open to working with you to meet unique needs. We offer a substantial on-line introduction to our agency and our requirements and will conduct supervision in person or on-line.  The process begins with your application and scheduling an interview with our staff and your perspective supervisor in person or on video. We must have one-on-person meeting with you the first supervision session, again this can be done in person or virtual.
